I painted portraits of myself and my brother this year as Christmas gifts to my parents.  However, to give them my own personal spin, I did portraits that featured imagined hair styles.

In my case, I did a portrait of myself with a ‘fro:

For my brother, I decided he needed new facial hair.  Dramatic facial hair.

I did both in a few hours spread over two days, so they’re a bit rushed looking, but I think it adds to the charm.
